About us

The Abundant Africa development process is funded by Tearfund and will bring together a coalition of organisations already working towards the transformation of Africa. The first phase of Abundant Africa is around developing narratives, plans and policies for an African Restorative economy. The second phase will hopefully see this coalition increasingly develop aligned action inspired by the ideas generated through Abundant Africa.

Abundant Africa was inspired by the global publication “The Restorative Economy: Completing our unfinished Millennium Jubilee”, published by Tearfund in 2015. Abundant Africa aims to take the global conversation started in “The Restorative Economy” and use it as inspiration for an African process.
